Civil is bursting with personality & character. She’s highly interactive, always throwing a paw at you, or wanting to snuggle up. She has fantastic eye contact, biddability, & food drive which makes her an absolute joy to train… & boy is she sharp! This girl learns things faster than any dog I’ve had & has on multiple occasions been caught teaching herself strategic skills, like how to open her own crate door. She’s confident, outgoing, & social… hardly phased by novel sights/sounds, ready to take on any adventure, & loves to meet new people. That said, she has also exhibited an appropriate protective instinct by alerting to strangers with questionable intentions. She is playfully cat obsessed & loves to hunt bugs, but shows overall great stability around livestock & other animals. She loves a good fetch game & has just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting. Her natural tracking ability is off the charts, so I’m excited to dabble in scent work with her!
